I tried to hit the line with Cabrera who has 90 control on his sinker and rarely could with perfect pitches. Guy was doing it with 84 lester and better 40 control Chapman.

I am either missing something on pitching or this is going to turn into a serious problem. I can't hit the line that much with perfect pitches with a 90 control player. It goes in the PAR but

Serious question, am I missing something on pitching that allows low control players to hit the line constantly?

Hitting the edge of the strikezone is nothing. Thing is the ball gets smacked just as hard from there as it does down the middle. So I can throw dots all game long and still get smacked around.

Also if you are trying to throw certain pitches just off the plate IE: sliders curveballs ect, is hitting the edge good? No. That also happens a lot. Throwing dots when not trying too and it gets smacked.

I'll change from classic fade to trail and see if that matters. I'm sure you can hit the edges consistently with a Maddux. I am talking about people with less than 90 control on pitches because I couldn't do it with perfect pitches from Cabrera. Quit out 5 games before this to prove a point I don't care about losses. They do not matter to me unless maybe a 12 win run. 1 of which I cost myself due to a dumb decision. I have played this game a lot and hit a ton of perfect pitches and something seems very off.

It doesn’t matter what you do until you hit legend. HOF is turning into a joke due to contact swing. The game is beyond scripted and I’ll prove my point. Early or late hit, boom homerun on the next at bat.

Now I just played a game and used Maddux. Maddux has 99 control on his sinker. I hit the strike zone line a few times but had several times where the pitch was perfect (100%, 0 degrees and like .01 early) and would not hit right on the line even though I put it there. It was super close to the line but not on it like I see ALL the time. I am convinced the zen is here in greater numbers than people think.

This was Maddux. Probably the best control pitcher in the game.

If you think the game is scripted you need to put down the whiskey and rethink life.

You cannot preprogram who is going to win or lose.

i just think you and anyone else who sits on these forums and bellyaches about that very thing need to try to go into custom practice and hit or pitch until you're blue in the face and quit acting like a pre-pubescent child who needs a diaper change everytime you lose or something doesn't go your way

Oh no I don’t know how I’m going to go on living. I stated a fact and your being mean. Haha, the truth hurts, this is mlb 20 remastered and the game is starting to be a joke. If you don’t agree oh well, I’ll keep living my life a pointing out the flaws until they fix them. You must be a contact swing warrior

I x swing, but hey I call our bad games. I guess you don’t understand that, I don’t like a game that is a remastered pile of trash that they called the show 20

Yeah it's an issue and nothing will be done about it. They ruined NBA 2k with it and they'll do the same to this game
