I keep getting network error whenever I play any game mode in Diamond Dynasty. But whenever I play another game, like madden, it doesn’t happen. Can anyone help ?
What type of network error? I’m having the same problem hoping i can figure out a fix. I haven’t been able to play 1 game online yet because before loading up it closes the game server on me and goes to the main menu. This should be a huge issue no matter how many people it’s affecting.
Also, what is your ISP? And are you playing a digital download or from a disc install?
Want to see if there is any correlation between everyone sharing this issue.
All signs from my side point to it having nothing to do with my ISP. PSN connection doesn’t drop, I log right into The Show’s servers when the game boots. All other online functionality on my PS4 has zero issues.
Verizon Fios i’m using, i have the game digitally downloaded and never have connection issues with any other game. I have not played 1 online game yet because i can’t even get far enough to get into a game. The game server closes before i can even set my lineup

Can’t even enjoy March To October, because this server issue removes any Team Affinity points I should have rightly earned. Was playing along last night when I simply received the error message “Server Error”. It’s been 5 days since I’ve heard back on my bug ticket for this. Since early launch this game is a giant, unsatisfying, unrewarding, waste of time.
I really need to see a patch update note that reads...
“Server bug updates - fixed an issue that was causing many to lose in game progress due to Show Server disconnects.”

@Collin_SDS or someone from SDS. Can the collective group that are experiencing this issue that makes the game literally unplayable, get some form of answers or updates on work being done?
We just want to play. We’re already isolated, and don’t need any more “distancing” from the game we love. I’m talking baseball here.

————I did inform them it is not my internet provider because they informed me nothing is being blocked. I’ll keep you guys updated if I get any progress.
I was able to connect using my phones WiFi to prove that it can work.

@Ch0sn2Win thanks for the update. Who’s your ISP? I’ve opened all ports that could be of issue bidirectionally manually with my router. I also didn’t change ISP between 19 and 20. So the fact that I’ve never had this issue before is telling.
Kasey is my guy too, he’s ghosted me for 5 days now

Yeah I’ve gotten network error 4 times this year in ranked seasons...any chance you can send me the list of ports to open so I can check to see if I have them open? This happened two years ago, last year was fine!

I stay in a condo so my provider is SuperNova ️.
I’ve lived here for a few years and had MLB with no issues. I don’t know what the problem is now.

I’m having this same exact issue. I have tried 100+ times and can’t play Ranked seasons, events, or BR. I can play all other DD modes no problem and can play Play now online with no problem as well. This is ridiculous

Same, i thought today’s matchmaking hotfix was going to fix it. Excited to hop on, and still getting a challenge failed error everytime i try to start a ranked, event or BR game. I haven’t been able to play one ranked game this year yet.

Same Issue here...Cannot play any ranked season in DD. Regular online works fine as well as other DD modes but cannot get into a DD season game ever after reinstalling the game. Kinda the only reason I bought the game....

Same here...any DD mode gives me a network error within 1 or 2 innings...its not my internet because I didnt have a problem with any previous show game...nor gta and red dead online...wish they would figure this out

Nothing like cruising thru Showdown to get a Network Error message in the Final Showdown down by 4.

I’ve been getting “challenge failed: the game server closed your game session.” Followed by “Error: the game server closed your game session.”

SDS please respond to this thread, these should not be ignored. Stop wasting time catering to people complaining that hitting is too hard.

Show of hands, how many of you were in the closed beta? Sound off. Trying to figure out any correlation to pinpoint the problem for SDS.
