Granderson Moment SB Issue
-
This is beginning to really annoy me. I've finished all the Granderson moments except for the 1st one which requires a HR, 3 XBH, and 1 SB.
The SB is the issue. Whenever I press R2 to steal with him he runs halfway down to the next base and then literally just stops halfway between the two bases. I've tried stealing 2nd and 3rd multiple times each and he always just stops in the middle for no reason.
Anyone else have this issue?

R2? Use the left stick...

My base runners do this all the time on stolen bases! I have sent this into SDS as a bug with no response

This. Moments function different than regular game play. Why? Heck if I know.

Player lock/road to the show controls.. ya..

Like others said, top buttons are for taking leads and shortening leads and the stick is used to move runner. When stealing, don't pay attention to the pitcher as much as the catcher. When the catcher shifts to set up target you can steal without worry of being picked off.

I never play RTTS and only DD. So the controls for the Granderson moments are different. But R1 takes a lead and R2 always worked to steal. Right stick up advances runners after a base hit. Weird controls IMO.
Never did I see anything about the left stick moving runners.
Nice tip on watching the catcher. I'll try that out.

Hold R1 before pitch so the runner leans toward the base. Use left stick to send him n run

Switch to analog baserunning controls if you aren't already, then like they said you just need to move stick up to start steal, the hold L1 to start slide and move right stick to right to slide to RF side of bag, you'll find it easier with the analog controls
