I’m still hopeful because I’ve started slow with cards before then started to rake with them (99 Corey seager last year) and the fact that they have similar stances is making me think I should keep waiting

Yeah I was gonna say to stick with it. Especially with Kyle, he’s got one of the sweetest swings in the game every year. Sometimes we just try too [censored] hard with a new card. Move him in the lineup a bit, take some pitches. Sounds crazy and cliché but sometimes its all it takes to stop pressing

That’s what I had to do with Soriano. Moved him in the order to stay out of high leverage situations. Now I hit bombs with the guy without even trying

I started 0-12 with Jim Thome before hitting a HR, all off RHP

0-18 he gone. Life is too short too deal with that nonsense.

But in all seriousness I’d take him offline and see if I could hit with him. If not it’s the swing. If I could maybe give him a few more games.

In cases of non sellable big cards I’ll say what I said with Soriano, when he started coming up to bat in clutch situations and I started contemplating pinch hitting for him I knew it was time for him to go.

Jim Thome has sucked for me but that’s okay cause to be honest he’s just there until I get Cole and Trout and finally get Papi and Chipper

I tried man. I have almost 200AB with him. Had him hitting leadoff and his OBP was too low, moved him 2nd, no dice. Had him 6th and then finally 8th and couldn’t hit over .250 with him while everyone else is way above .320

I find he hits outside pitches amazing. Ball flies off the bat and crushes lefties. Just seems when righties pound him inside, have a hard time turning on pitches. Idk. Dont have that issue with Trout or Buxton or Story who are strictly righties

I feel like i usually know within 20ab's if im going to do well with a card or not. To rule out maybe its just me sucking...I'll usually go 50-75 ab's with a card just to see if i pick up a feel for it.

I’ve really struggled with Acuna online. Finally hit a bomb with him yesterday. He is hitting .078 for me.

Dang bro that rough. Might be time to move on. Sux cause he’s so [censored] expensive but I only used him sparingly. Honestly I rather have Matt Kemp

Oh no doubt. Inside pitch is his krptonite. I don’t swing at anything unless it’s middle/middle outside

What’s the most amount of ABs you’ve had without a hit with a certain card before pulling him from the lineup? Kyle seager is now 0-18 with an .056 OBP. At this point I’m just impressed

Between Soriano and Acuna I went like 0-40 before having an odd hot streak with Soriano for like 2 games then back to horrible... Overall I hit the best every year with Corey Seager! Hits .400 with like 40 bombs in 200 ab's all ranked
