Meh. Starting pitchers hitting 102MPH usually suck. I’d rather use a 102 flame thrower out of the pen after a finesse starter pitched. Yeah it’s not easy to time and hit but you know it’s coming at some point. Look for tendencies and adjust

No I haven’t but I’ve seen multiple people talk about it from XBOX. Sorry I can’t help you there but maybe there’s a performance setting of some sort you can play with

Honestly think pitchers with outlier are overrated. If you can time up the fastball you should have very few problems with facing them. There only good if you mix in the secondary pitches.

Makes you throw 102 on fastballs and 100 on sinkers. Unless you are facing Crochet and Kopech every game you aren't facing 102 every game

fastballs are teh easiest pitch to hit by far. I'd rather Aroldis throw my a 105mph 4-seamer.. hell even a 2-seamer, than try and hit his 91mph splitter.

Well part of my issue is the framerate drops on high velo fastballs for whatever reason. I play alot of RS, and sure does feel like pitchers hitting that mark.

I don't personally think so. Outlier sinkers have no movement on them. I would rather face Cabrera on HOF than Glavine, Maddux, Hershiser, or Lee just about any day of the week

I haven't made it to legend difficulty yet but I am in DS and have thrown Cabrera out there twice. (18 IP 2 W 0.00 ERA 0.17 WHIP 29 SO) He is incredible right now, could have been a pitch selection issue or maybe your opponent just railed some Adderall. lol
Edit: I feel like I mix well with him but both times I threw the sinker 60+ times.

The games I play on legend I feel like the guy can’t hit anything or they hit everything o throw no matter who. I did match up with pitching rebel a few days ago and Maddux held him to 4 runs after 6!

That's an accomplishment! I rely heavily on my pitching in online play because I find it extremely difficult to consistently hit the ball where there isn't a glove. I feel like my pitching is pretty good (68 games, 1.32 ERA 0.89 WHIP) and if I can figure out how to string together more hits in the higher difficulties, I may make WS for the first time in like 2 years.

Kudos to you guys that can hit gas on HOF or Legend. Personally I don't know how you do it but that's why there is a WS banner. Good on ya.
