Big difference in this game. Heck I moved back to a tv the other day to just list some cards on the market and I could tell the difference on input lag lol.

My TV is has really good input lag performance. Especially for a 65" tv. It gets 10ms. I have a 1ms 4K monitor and I can tell a major difference. Even the least saavy person will notice the difference. Which monitor did you get?

Considering it as well but I'm not sure I want to get out of my couch! How will you set it up, at a desk? Interested to know the monitor as well...

I'm 43. Monitor will help with timing. I can be early on outlier fastballs now when I never could with 60 inch t.v.

Now you just need to order the 12 year old to react to the fastballs.
The monitor does help as does the zoom option you can use on the PS5.

Same with Brooklyn!! Born and raised. 41 years here. I still put up a great fight. Unless the lag is bad. Frustrates me

Whenever I hear the city name "Hoboken" all I think of is that scene in Dude Where's my Car when the two alien guys are like "We will now use the power of the Continuum Transfunctioner to banish you to Hoboken, New Jersey"

That 1 ms time that you're using is the response time, not the input lag. Response time is how fast a pixel transitions from one shade to another, to put it simply. What you're looking for is your input lag, which monitors are faster at, although there are a number of tvs these days that are getting close.

Samsung 65" QN90A... you could go with the Samsung 65' Q90T it has a slightly worse picture (still looks amazing) and HDR is noticeably better on the QN90A but the input lag is 9.7ms on both and the Q90T is like $500 cheaper.

Thanks. I’ll probably be in the market for a 55” as I really don’t have the space for a 65” but I just wanted to get a basic idea.

You realize you are mixing specs correct?? Your monitor has 1ms of response time not input lag. Your monitor is probably very similar to your tv’s input lag specs and any perceived difference between the two is strictly a placebo effect.

I’m 43 and switched to a Monitor last Dec. BA jumped up over 100 points almost immediately. Huge difference and I had/have a great LG TV for gaming but doesn’t compare to my monitor setup as well as being a lot closer to the screen.

I’m 46 and bought a monitor late last year. I noticed a big difference last year. This year it seem a lot harder to hit
