Does anyone know if Program Stars from games are a running tally of 2K or does it reset every game?

Like I understand whether you get 2001 XP or 3999 XP you’re only getting 1 program star, but I swear I’ve played multiple games and not hit 2K and haven’t gotten any stars meaning it resets every game which would be kind of BS. Kind of defeats the purpose of their whole "earn stars just by playing" mantra they've been pushing if you never hit 2k every game.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I rarely get Stars when I play M2O.

We get one star for every 2K XP? I never knew that. sometimes in a ranked seasons game you can get 1K XP in one inning. I'm not sure this is accurate. If this were the case there would be some games I'm getting three and four stars but I guess I don't pay attention to that.

Last year you would get 1 star for every 3 innings played, this year I believe they said they changed it to 1 star every 2,000 XP(which to me they did it because they wanted it to be a lot harder to earn them this year). Which if it resets every game then you can play nothing but conquest, finish with say 1,900 Xp and never earn any program stars.

And that to me that seems to be the case because as an offline only player I've played a ton of conquest and I'm only at 74 stars and that's with having the game since early release and playing for 2-3 hours every day.

Yeah that is nonsense. It should accumulate from game to game but i would bet it resets

I don't know if it is 1 star for every 2000xp. When I play 9 innings cpu game for dailies, I get 4000xp easily and always only 1 star.
I'm getting stars in MTO and RTTS, but don't know how often
