The last like 2 or 3 days I am getting perfect release pitches and they are missing the location I chose by like 5 or 6 inches. I can see it happening on breaking balls but it's happening on 4 seamers too.

Ahh duh didnt think about control. I use meter most of the time online but I use pinpoint most of the time offline.

Yes, the control does mean something about this. However, there are way too many times were you can hit prefect perfect on pinpoint and it does not go where you want it to. And I'm talking early in the game so energy is not an issue. Plus, I've had so many yellow/ perfect pitches be better than perfect prefect pitches but yet green green pitches are so mislocated that you end up almost hitting the player or its in the dirt... Idk I would think yellows and red would be the worst and green and perfect being the best, however that does not seem to be the case with pinpoint...

Wish I could.use pinpoint. I have to use pulse and I have to use high control guys or the ball just does its own thing.

Meter works for me most of the time but sometimes it goes haywire and perfect releases go way off the mark. Was happening with cliff lee too. Also with glavine one game but no others. I just suck at pinpoint and don’t feel like practicing with it. I know I should bc it’s the best way but I’ll just deal with the hangers and erratic feedback for now.

Yea I've always used the pitch meter and I've wondered for years what's the point of "perfect pitch release/timing" if it still will not hit the mark. Regardless of control attribute, "perfect" should be another word for "bullseye"!

Part of the game...I don't notice it getting any worse or better. I lost 1-0 to a guy yesterday, that hit a change-up that I perfectly metered, while full of energy and confidence, aiming a foot below the bottom of the box. WHACK and there it goes over the fence. Look at the PCI and that 'ol change-up is sitting square in the middle of the plate. After awhile you just get numb.
