I think we're all sick of knuckledraggers swinging at balls bouncing in the dirt and getting "rewarded" by lifting triples and home runs on balls that are almost off the swing feedback screen. "Competitive mode" my [censored]..playing on arcade with this [censored]

Ha yeah it sucks. They said during the 2nd inning live stream that they're aware and working on a fix, but after that it has been silent. Nothing but crickets.

Lol they were aware during the [censored] alpha when multiple users mentioned it. It's been 3 months since then, and it was fixed in 20 from the [censored] in 19 with bloopers

Also tags are broken on pickoffs again, have had numerous times I've stepped off, thrown to 2nd and had the guy fried by 3 steps and he slides in around the tag

Not saying your wrong but 2,3, and 5 are all inside the PCI with good swing timing. If they are all hard ground balls that doesn’t seem bad. I don’t use contact swing but even with normal swing I get hits on balls below the zone like a few of those.

They were gappers for xbh in the air LOL, bottom of pci

Those were just the ones I happened to screen grab there was a few more I was so pissed about that were even worse that I didn't screenshot in time

Not to mention they WOULDNT be inside pci with normal swing since the pci is doubled with circle swing

Yea I’d be pissed too if those were all line drives. I don’t think anything will be fixed until they re work the hitting engine. The PCI just needs be consistent the bottom of the PCI should be a ground ball every time. I think of the PCI as the barrel so honestly I try not to get mad about balls out of the PCI but inside slightly bc I think of it as still being the bat and getting jammed and fighting it off. If that makes sense. @Greenbuk75_MLBTS

Never really had issues with pci that low getting elevation or chip shot hits with super poor placement like I posted in mlb 20, it's not the engine it's something they [censored] up when coding new stuff

I would say the people that throw in the dirt all game are the knuckledraggers. I had an opponent’s Yu Davish at 80 pitches to start the 3rd inning. I feel like if you play like that any pitch over the plate should be an automatic extra base if contact is made with the pitch. Both are garbage play styles yet one is more accepted then the other. Either that or all balls out of the zone should strobe or flash once you keep throwing that many pitches for balls.

Lol. Or you could just develop plate discipline. Take a couple of walks and you’ll start seeing more pitches in the zone.

Yea lol...thinking this is good bc it counters your [censored] discipline is half the reason it's an issue, it rewards bad gameplay

If contact swing works so well then why don't you use it also?

Seems like if it is that overpowered then you are simply hamstringing yourself not using it.

Because some of us arent cheeselords and have played this game the right way for a decade or more? Why wouldnt you just abuse poor ppl and steal money from them if the system lets you?
