How viable is Torre defensively at Catcher? I am currently running FS Huff/TA Perez at catcher. I really like Torre's swing, but I have PS Donaldson (parallel V) at 3rd and love his swing too, so with the secondary penalty, is Torre viable at catcher?

Only thing that matters at catcher is arm strength IMO

Depends on how and who you play. It's viable, just gotta pick your poison. Do you hit well enough with him that his bat will reward you more than maybe giving up a few extra stolen bases etc? Do you pitch well enough that maybe they won't even have too many baserunners? Do you tend to pitch big breaking stuff that is in the dirt a lot? Do you play mainly offline? (Then obviously none of this would matter much).

Those are all the questions I asked myself...lol haven't played a lot online but was planning on it soon...guess I should just try it out. I am pretty decent at pitching in the game, as I tend to use the same principles I used when I pitched in real life....mix speeds, locations and pitch types and such...so ya probably gonna have to try him out and see...lol
just wanted to check and see if anyone has used him online at catcher and how he played there.
