Because... I don't like the card art. Last year, his Awards card (I think it was Awards) was beautiful. This Veteran card? Yuck. And yes, those types of stupid things run through my head when I'm hitting. "Ick. I don't like this card".... AND... Fastball right by me.

Lmao. I don’t dislikes card art per say but I’m a sucker for some. Like Signature Series last year and Milestone this year. I need them all. I also have Huff, Torre and Foxx. Foxx beats them all but Torre is pretty [censored] good. Haven’t tried Bench yet

I have a similar stubbornness. It's really hard for me to use players I don't like or have a connection with, regardless of if they are really good cards. I don't really use any of the older legends. 2000s plus/some late 90s players I'll use.

Foxx was great for me last year. The only thing I hated was wasting a bench spot on a backup catcher that I could sub in for defense of I played against a heavy stealer.

I do up to a point. I'm not too happy with the Astro's, but man, Finest Bregman was one of my favorite cards last year.

Im aware that almost all the Content Creators had him,, back in the days of slow loading and seeing players lineups!!
At one point I was batting. 111 with him, but if he's no cost, then I'm in! -
Jesus thats dumb. I unlocked him yesterday and did his 3 homerun mission is 4 ABs lol. I've heard ridiculous reasons to not use a card before but that definitely takes the cake.

try torre. I love foxx but he will get a 99 and will be in my lineup most of the year. Torre has a great swing this year and maxed out contact. He hits bombs for me. Foxx is on my bench.
