I have a knights cross from my Great-Grandfather who survived WW1, then turned against the Nazi's in WWII. His "Anti-Nazi" tattoo saved his life after the war was over. We are very grateful, he immigrated to the United States, and spent the rest of his life driving on sidewalks and scaring people because he didn't want to wait at red lights (my God, getting in a car with him was a death sentence).

He was a hoot, but I know him far more through stories than life experiences due to when he passed. My grandmother on the other hand, I was lucky to know her for 30 years of my life.
I was always interested in history, but to hear first hand accounts about the war from someone who survived it in Germany, then escaped with only the things she could fit in a bag on her back, that was what really got me more interested. Years later, she went back and climbed the remaining part of the Berlin wall with a hammer. As she started to chisel off a piece, a soldier rushed over to her and started yelling at her. She yelled back, she won, I now own a small piece of the wall LOL
Revisionist history is one thing, first hand accounts is another.

He crowds the plate and has a relatively slow swing. Takes some getting used to. At least for me it did.

His FoF last year wasn’t that bad. The Rox actually need OFers this year without CarGo or a Diamond Blackmon/Walker yet so I’m totally cool with this. Get him out of the way. He’ll get some playing time now then be a beast bench bat when we get some better OF cards
