The worst RTTS to date.

We don't want the mode to be connected to DD. People in DD will never use the " Ballplayer " anyway. We can only make one player which can get stale very fast. The loadouts aren't very fun just let us progress our player as we play. What is so bad about gaining attributes by playing RTTS? Forced to be online to play is also a baffling decision so when the servers go off in 2 years the mode will be completely unplayable if you go to revisit the game or keep playing it. Also can't play when your servers go out or when our internet goes out. The progression system isn't very good when it works which it doesn't most of the time unfortunately. You are forced to play DD to progress your player currently because that is the only way the " programs " will track missions and stats. Also every time you go into loadouts it glitches out your gear and you have to switch everything back. Like it will give you just one batting glove put the foot guard back on forced sunglasses on always instead of when just fielding and much more including swing types when you have a built stance it can be very frustrating to have to fix it just because you went to the loadout screen to check " programs " progress. So please SDS just make RTTS like you used to for next years game. We want to be able to make multiple characters, not be connected to DD, and just gain attributes from playing not this " perk/architype " system.

They do force you. I made it very clear that I didn't want to be a two-way player. Got told that I'm still going to have to try it. Had to bean 28 batters before I got pulled.
this just seems like a crazy waste of time when you can just sim the pitching lol

Yeah, it was worth it though. AI is pretty good at dodging pitches. I thought if I'm going to be forced to have pitching stats I may as well make them one to remember.

RTTS is all I do and I used to be such a good hitter (with realistic numbers not video game numbers...that aint fun) in years past but now Idk what it is. I don't wanna blame the game, I guess my eyes are just going bad and I can't read the pitch or something. I've always played on all-star and hit around .300 but nowadays I can only hover around the .260 mark...still able to hit HRs though but not as many other hits. Pretty frustrating. Veteran level is too easy and too boring. Guess its just time I hang em up for good.

I am on a pace to hit 50 home runs...and strike out 225 times in a year...not good for a speedster lead off man...

Yep I have played this game from the beginning and it is the most boring game they have ever released. I have been saying for years to change the records. I have struck out more than 20 batters a couple of times and yet every time I get close they start talking about breaking the record of 20 ks. How about some in game records. Even madden knows when you set a new single game record and they reset it as the new record. There is just so much wrong with this game. I have moved over to franchise and created my player and do the player lock. At least here you have more control. Your team can not trade off all the good players for some [censored] minor league players.

I whole heartedly agree, I have been playing RTTS for years, this is just stupid, the pretty much fore you to be a two way player which gee, their is ONE in the whole league, it is unrealistic I prefer to have two players, I have always had some kind of pitcher and a position player, it is fun to go after batting titles but now you don’t Qualify. It’s stupid to have a shell of a player who is totally different depending on which role he is playing, when I pitch I have no speed and can’t hit, but the next day when I start in the field I can run down balls all over the outfield slug with the best. It’s just stupid, i am sticking with 2020, and wil weight to see what they do in 2022, (I have always pre ordered not not year)

If you play the first 3/4 games, you will be at your fielding position and hitting. The 5th game (always) is the one they make you pitch, so just sim that one; then the next day, they ask you if you want to be a 2 way player, just a pitcher, or just a position player. You don’t have to play the one game they make you pitch.

RTTS is total garbage. Get you can't win every game by yourself, but that's the way they've made it. Got really sick, really fast of the CPU giving themselves 5,6,7 runs an inning. I noticed that the average strike out rate is at least 75 to 80 percent when your guy is on base. After of course hitting about 20 foul balls first. It's literally scripted out when you get on base. You can call it before they pitch the ball. As far as playing in the field goes, its pointless, because you do your job, and they just toss the CPU 5,6,7 runs, when you are not fielding. I lost count of the number of times the [censored] score was between 6-10, before I even got to start playing. Who wants to waste their time on that [censored]. Its funny, I've compared player stats for games I've played, and games simulated. The hitting is worse when played and the team averages about half the amount of runs. Again, it's one thing when its every once in awhile, not every game. This is not fun for me. I have weathered the bugs, garbage servers, and the company ignoring the issues thinking if they just keep saying they'll fix it for a year, they can just avoid it till the next version of this garbage takes its place. I am also curious about the dynamic challenge that once every 10,000 is for an item. After failing about 10 times I completed. Guess what????? There wasn't a [censored] item? Anybody like to say what or where it is? This game is just a joke. Levels that mean nothing, because the comp is always turning all star plays, player attributes that mean nothing. I've watched guys with speed of 25 outrunning players with 99. Thank god I didn't buy this, and they guarenteed I never will buy anything from them

TBH, I only played the last 2 seasons for the trophies, but I do like to use myself in DD.
The fact that you cannot have Catcher, and for me, 1B as your primary in DD is just ridiculous.
You can be those positions, until you upgrade them to Diamond. Then it seems every Archetype turns into a primary 3rd baseman!
To avoid bad words, I'll just say: "You Mother-Fathers. I'm a LEFTY! How can I be a 3rd baseman in DD?" Speaking of 3rd Base, SDS gets the gas face for this blunder.
I got three Diamond Archetypes 'Crime Dog,' ' The Duke,' and now 'Yo, Adrian.' It says 'preferred positions,' with 1B included, but once you're Diamond, you're now a 3rd baseman, although The Duke diamond has me as a LF, which isn't terrible since I have Freddie Freeman at 1B, but the execution is silly
They'll nerf XP and fix the stolen base glitch, but they'll let this position snafu stand.
You're better than this, SDS. When will you update so I can play First base in DD? -

Yeah, but I preferred to bean the batters instead of sim. The game was persistent on keeping me in haha. I don't care anymore, just playing 20 rtts until whenever they fix 21.

I have noticed that in RTTS, the pitch location replay doesnt jive with what you as the batter sees. For example I JUST got called up, and I’m slumping as expected. But, I’m sitting on a change up down in the zone(like we’re talking bottom of the zone), I get it…and hit a weak pop up to second…the replay then shows the pitch above my PCI. Almost in the heart of the plate…Hundo P nowhere near where the actual pitch was…

I picked the wrong [censored] league and there was no back option and pressing B did nothing. So I have to do character customization all over again? I wasted 30 minutes of my life creating my character, I'm not doing it again. Thank the gods for Xbox Gamepass, I didn't buy this [censored] and I'm uninstalling it as well.
