Parallel preference

Does anyone think, in their opinion, if it's worth paralleling a 42 TA player, it even Legend, knowing that eventually you may have a better version of that player? Especially Legends?
Just wondering how people go about thinking who they want to parallel.
Ex: if you had 42 Griffey would you parallel him, knowing there will probably be a 99 later, over someone that would have better attributes? Say LS Acuna

I would not go out of my way to parallel a player I probably am not going to use. I would use your best players or players you like to play with unless you are grinding TA innings.

I honestly don’t think is worthy grinding 42 TA players unless you play very well with a 42 player. I would wait until they start releasing more players near 99

Do technically I could put someone like POTM Buxton, or Trout if I kept him, in CF for my main lineup (if I decide to go RS) and put the TA guys in a Conquest/Play vs CPU team build?
Ex: I've been trying running TA Pedro NON STOP in my offline games. His record is 43 Wins and 2 losses; but he only has 45 innings pitched.
Now if I took him online, he would still have the current parallel boost but would technically be 0-0.

Personally I got Griffey Jr to Parallel V because he's one of my favorite players and I love his swing. I plan on having him in my lineup as long as possible.

I wouldn’t waste my time with any of the position players knowing a better card is coming, but the pitching is so valuable I don’t mind leveling up Mo for example or that Bob Gibson

I just got Pedro's Superfractor last night He is a 92 OVR now.. I used him a ton in conquest, so I wanted to level him up. He got hit around in the RS game last night, but he's nice to pitch so it was worth it.
