I haven't been able to pick up the 96 ovr but I have his LS and he absolutely crushes the ball for me hitting .410 with 32 bombs. He has such a great swing this year unlike years past i think this 96 Story will be the best SS in the game for a while with his insane hitting all around diamond fielding and very good speed.
What do you guys think about the SS discussion?
Cap still rules the day. Story probably comes in 2nd for now.
Yeah true the cap is ridiculously good. I still havent grinded mine out.
I was totally against the cap but shortstop is always a thin position and Ernie Banks just wasn't doing it for me he is more of a bench bat. I don't know how he has Diamond Fielding but he doesn't play like it. The cap is insanely over powered and it's pretty much an easy 99 end game type card. Never played rtts before but it was kinda fun and you can pick it up and play here and there. You can have a stud ballplayer in maybe 4-6 hours of play time. Plus you don't have to do every at bat you can sim stuff when you get bored or tired. You just don't get as much points when you sim.
Honestly idk what holes i have in my team other than my catcher and catchers r broken this year so i can't do that. I had my cap at catcher the whole entire year last year and he was amazing

I still use his LS card at third when he is playing up vs righties. He has one of the best right handed swings in the game imo.

I was totally content with using his LS all year. I hit so well with him, even without IE. So yeah I’m emptying my stubs for this card and he will be my endgame SS for the rest of the year without a doubt.

Its annoying he doesnt have a secondary positron when every LS card has

He looks good. I would like to try him. He is down to 285k but I think he probably drops more. Wish I knew where his floor was because I’d buy him as soon as he hit it to try. I’m guessing 90-100k but who knows.
There are some ss coming tomorrow tho.

That contact rating makes him unusable on legend.

I've been using my CAP for years and always ended up benching him; could never hit decent with him, even using swings of players I do well with.

I think his floor will be about 100k but I could see him hovering around 150-200k for the next 2-3 weeks. Depends how crazy people get with the TA2 drop and who is dropped for the 3rd Inning.
