cal ripken contact rating

I wonder how they will do his rating for his 1991 all star card. His splits are insane in that year. He hit .315 vs righties with only 31 strike outs that year. He hit 22 tanks for a shortstop. I bet he doesn't have good contact vs righties tho. I know his swing sucks but it should be a good card on paper..

He is my favorite player of all time and it drives me crazy that his swing is so problematic. Especially ironic because dude tinkered with his swing CONSTANTLY through his career.

Me too I had some success with him early in 42 card then dropped to 8th now he’s not even in my bench... I used to wear 8 as a kid in honor of him and had pleasure to meet him

I am more coming at it about consistency in how they do contact ratings. I do love cal tho. He was so much fun to watch.

Yup.... Too bad, because he's probably my favorite SS all time.. dude's an absolute legend. And his '91 season was insane
