Bad Swings and Timing leading to Home Runs

Can someone explain to me why a perfect-perfect down the middle is not a home run but I see people hitting bombs with the pci off the ball or they have very early or late swings.

The amount of doubles in the gap from Very Late swings not at all barreling the ball up while there jammed up is gonna make me smash my controller .. again

It's been inconsistent for years. ESPECIALLY in moments and showdown. I barreled up multiple balls down the middle with high vision, high power guys, literally the ball was in the exact middle, good swing. Pop up, pop up, double play, pop up. These bozos at SDS adjust the sliders in these programs without a doubt

Nah man this year is a whole nother level. I've seen myself get home runs where the inner pci isnt even touching the ball and I've seen opponents get them too. That's never been the case in years past its pretty ridiculous

In that daily moment today I hit 2 perfect perfect line outs to CF then homered off a missed the pci left and high early swing.
Cleared the moment but was puzzling and unsatisfying. Compounded by the feel on the PS5 controller, a PP feels terrific and then you see the result. And underneath the pci visual I said d a m n it to myself and then saw it sail into the stands.

I noticed today that the hitting seemed kind of off...lots of good and perfect balls to the warning track...who knows...its something off every year
