It wasnt very fun last year getting innings for a team that half the team/ pen was bronze and commons.
Love it this year, no lineup holes. -

I must be in the minority. I like the Team over division better. Solely for Lineup Building. I get to use more guys I wouldn't normally use when building my lineups by team. Hopefully they'll keep the 10 pts per 250 innings. That's the real question.
-
Division is soooo much better than team.
-
Fine by me.
I quite enjoyed only playing teams based on division in TA1.
Even if its Team to rack up the points and innings, most of you by now should have a couple of diamonds per team.
Its always a grind.
-
I think you are overthinking it. Team missions replace the gold player missions IMO. It will be the same otherwise. For Example: instead of hitting 2 HR's with gold Ortiz it will be like 10 HRs with Red Sox hitters

Even at 10 points, it's a far inferior method of completing affinities as opposed to showdown or mto. To complete all affinities by innings alone, if my math is correct, would require 2500 9 inning games.
Innings played should get at least 15 points, and preferably 20, to at least get it somewhat close to showdown.
I don't like showdowns, won't play mto, not going to do exchanges, so it makes it really hard to complete. With pxp and innings, I'm starting to feel like 18 and the immortals. Play the game as fast as you can on rookie, bat out, and get going on the next.

that honestly sounds like an ish you, if your not willing to do the grind that it requires then its not anyone elses fault

According to the tweets by SDS it says unlock "so and so player" by completing team specific missions. Might be like last year for stage affinity 2 where its more team by tea based unlike affinity 1
I sure hope not. I will likely quit playing in that case.

Your math is way off. 10 points for 250 innings, 150 points needed.
So 250 X 15 = 3750 innings needed to complete a division just by innings.
81 innings per a 9 inning game if you build a division lineup.
3750/81=46.29 gamesOf course nobody would just do this.
The moments are easy and take 20-30 minutes, there's 10.
And knocking out missions while you grind innings of course..
Probably looking at 20-30 9 inning games if you were to do it by grinding CPU depending on mission values and how many -

Stupid take. Last year was an absurd grind for TA. It was either countless team innings or 15 hours of NTO.

Who are you?
It’s a game that is supposed to be fun, not work.
-
An MTO run on AS with a contender will allow you to gather 72 TA points. That takes approximately 5-6 hours to accomplish. That is far an away more efficient than running showdowns back 10 times when a showdown takes over an hour to complete if you don’t skip to the final boss to complete one division

It takes WAY longer than that unless they changed it from last year....10 hours ar least. The playoffs took 4-5 hours by themselves.

Dude I played the Braves MTO this year and completed it in under 6 hours. If you play just the moments and don’t trade or bring up players it can be done pretty fast.

It's not a me thing at all. Whether I grind by innings, showdown, or mto, the time spent grinding should be somewhat equivilant. That's far from the case though, as if I were to grind it by showdown alone, I would spend only 1/4 of the time doing so. Mto is also a good chunk of points. It's apparent that SDS wants to push showdown and mto, and discourage innings played.
And as far as not being willing to grind, I grind far more than those who are using showdown or mto's to complete.

Yeah I was playing 15 to 20 min 9 inning games vs CPU last year to get innings done.
