I am playing Events and when the top of the first inning ended, my guys walked into the dugout and have been hanging out there for 20 minutes. They are just milling around and there is crowd noise. He scored in the top of the 1st.
Is this a freeze off?
I cannot access any menus or anything. The only button that does anything is the PlayStation button.
Today is the first day I have played online, so forgive my ignorance.

Just quit man. It's really not worth it. Wins are cumulative and losses don't count.

Let me rephrase that, Losses do count, but they really don't count against your online record. Just keep playing and gather as many wins as you can.
