Matchmaking for events

Is there any matchmaking done for events?? Feels like I’m continuously getting put up against people with ratings way higher. I don’t typically play a ton online and this is why... it’s been a bloodbath

The record that shows pre match is what I believe you are referring to. That record is your Ranked Seasons record not your event record, even if you’re in the event game mode, your ranked seasons record is displayed.

No I actually meant he had 99 wins in event he sent me a screenshot asking if he could get a free win since he was 1 win shy of getting 100 wins and the 20 pack rewards
