I'm at 38 wins and have been having a blast been playing so well in the Gold Glovers one. I use normal swing all day and crush the ball. I couldn't tell you if my opponent is using contact swing there is no where that tells you the type of swung
After they swing just look at the feedback in the bottom of the screen. You'll know if it's contact because the entire [censored] box is yellow lmao.

I don’t understand why people are so upset about contact swings? Like, induce weak contact! It IS frustrating when your opponent fouls off a million pitches, but we are all playing the same game here.
Just find a way to get your opponent out. Make a pitch! So many of you just rely on throwing one strike to get ahead and then spamming balls. Learn to throw competitive pitches?
Ya no [censored] that's how it should be but when contact swing is so OP the corners of the strikezone are pushed even further out and a good hitter will take those pitches all day. It has nothing to do with inducing weak contact.... if contact swing produced actual contact swing results then yeah that's how everyone should approach it. Contact swing gives power swing results far to often and with a double the size PCI.
Do you even know what and when a MLB player in real life would be using a "contact swing"? Because it's a real thing... it's not just a button on a video game.

I bet nothing has changed with contact swing since it was introduced. The fact that people can see that you’re doing it (or so they claim) is what started this. It’s probably been happening forever and no one really knew.
That being said, I’ve noticed nothing wrong. It’s on AS. People will occasionally get home runs with their pci barely on the ball; it’s part of that difficulty. Nothing is new here. I only use contact swings if there are two strikes and I need to move a runner over (or guy on third, less than two outs).
In reality, if you notice someone is using contact swings and it beats you, that’s on you. Just like people that use directional, you can take advantage of them. Figure it out.

Every time I use contact swing it's an out.
I want to hear from people who say "Yes, I use contact swing and it's OP as hell" -
I'm 18-2 (0) one loss was disconnect while winning, other was a disconnect before pitch was thrown. I can honestly say that I don't think I've used contact swing unless my pitcher was hitting or I had a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs. I have faced a few guys that I could tell were contact swinging like hell, didn't bother me at all. Last guy I played used it pretty much every at bat, and only scored 2 runs. It was on HOF. If I don't score 3 runs in my games I deserve to lose.

To suggest that anything in the game is "unplayable" is a dramatic over-exaggeration.

Ill say it again. Feedback doesnt work!!!! Sds even said it. Nobody listens
While I don't dispute this, I would also point out SDS has said things about their product and turned out to be wrong... Saying it is not accurate and it turning out to be would be a classic SDS moment.

Wow really!!! If it’s so OP then use it yourself. Honestly the complaining about something as mundane as the contact swing is really sorry excuse. BTW, I haven’t seen any issues with this at all. My question is how can you tell what swing he is using. I’m guessing that you’re just assuming that’s what is being used. And please don’t tell me that you can tell because of the pci feedback. That’s a bs argument because pci size doesn’t dramatically change until HOF difficulty.
Exactly. Wondered myself how they would know.
