https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4zOihtPE4c&t=496s i almost lost my 13 game win streak because of the server lag or the fact that he was on PS5. Before this game i had never really exp lag esp if and when i played in an old school park-like Forbes field (xbox one didn't have to process as much)

Well that depends. Is it server lag? If it is server lag then the system doesnt matter. And I am not sure how the hardware would cause lag. Unless you are on the one that is lagging.

i have an Xbox one that maxes out around 30 frames (if I'm right) and he had a ps5 that runs the game at 60 fps.
i mean it could have been server lag but I haven't had that problem since i was 6 games in (I've [played about 50 total). the only time my Xbox one lags is when im playing in a stadium that's packed with a lot of moving stuff ^_^.
PS5/ xbox series x/s (new gen) doesn't seem to have this problem tho. Like even though it's laggy on my end, it won't be for them since the game was optimized for thier consoles.

Ok, well the Xbox One should be able to do up to 60FPS, but it probably cannot run this game at 60FPS non stop. So That is why you will see FPS lag in parts where there is heavy detail. But your opponent would have zero effect on this. It wouldnt matter if you are playing old gen or newest. The same amount of frames will get processed equally for you and you opponent, the only difference is what you will be able to see if you cannot do 60FPS. So it will stutter. But your opponents hardware isnt causing this. It would be yours. It would still happen if you play someone on your same system.
Plus in that clip yall were playing at MMP. That is a known graphics killer for like the last 3 years on old hardware.

yessir, MMP = where I never wanna play and I pray before every game that im the home team so i can choose an old school park ( they play as smooth as butter like 95% of the time)

I fail to understand the question... Some people play pc games on top of the line pc's that cost as much as a used car and some people play on potatoes, how is that any different?

I'm a pc gamer myself and we know that comes with the territory, like a 500$ vs a 1200$ computer usually equals them not being in the same league. But I dont feel it should be the same way with a console or maybe I should say "I wouldn't feel so bad if they said it wouldn't run as well on older-gen consoles so buy it at your own risk or made 2 versions of it" lol.

The game is optimized for both systems, there are 2 versions of the game. Make your your PS4 version is on 1080P
