How exactly does simulation mode differ from competitive mode?
-
Say I am playing of HOF difficulty.
I have two batting players to compare.
Player 1 has contact and power against both right and left handed pitchers at 100.
Player 2 has both at 50.How will player 1 differ from player 2 in competitive mode?
Same question for simulation mode.I would assume in simulation mode, given the same user is controlling both players, that player 1 would be twice as effective as player 2, but how? How does it work, or does it work at all?
How exactly do these modes differ?

Seriously, no one knows????

Cue the Crickets audio unlockable
Seriously, ask a dev or mod. -
I think I recall seeing in game that simulation is based more on ratings and competitive is based more on stick skills.

I think it's supposed to be more input matters for the highest one and simulation is a mix between rng and input. As for how much, they have never said which is why people don't know

Been trying to figure it out and still can't.
For example, if someone is really good at pci placement and can get perfect/perfect every time, how would their hitting differ per mode?
I assume my options apply in practice mode.
If I set it to fastball only, high and in the middle so I know what's coming, I can sit there and blast it over the fence all day on either mode, with any player. -
