Thank you all for the feedback, lots of good points made. I know I don't NEED 650k but I really want my free Yu Darvish at the end of the rainbow! I am curious to see what happens with PoTM. I agree it was maybe inflated for the servers, but there was also only like a 2 day window to complete that, I wonder if that was maybe an incentive to complete before you miss out kind of thing

There’s so much XP to be made by progressing your ballplayer - both through DD and RTTS missions. And no, I don’t mean through any glitches that may be out there. I’m always working on maxing each archetype through diamond just by playing my at-bats in RTTS or by keeping him in my conquest DD lineup. This has allowed me to already max out the 2nd inning program.

I never understood how people get so much xp in rtts and in dd lineup... can u explain?

It’s built into the progression of each archetype. For fielders, there are 4 bronze archetypes. Finish one progression, get 5k XP along with equipment packs.

Each bronze unlocks 3 silver archetypes. Finish one, get 6k XP and equipment packs again.

Each silver unlocks 2 gold archetypes. Finish one, get 8k XP and more equipment packs.

Each gold unlocks 1 diamond archetype. Finish that, get 11k XP and even more equipment packs.

That’s a ton of XP that can be earned just by grinding a little RTTS and keeping your ballplayer in your DD lineup. The stat missions are usually innings, plate appearances, hits, extra base hits, assists, putouts, steals, etc. All this and it doesn’t even count the multiple pitcher archetypes, too.

That's all true but the person that made this post has limited time and certainly needs to accumulate inning xp faster then I know how long all that takes.

I probably have more time than the average player with maybe an hour or two during weekdays and few hours Saturday and Sunday each with my main goal being to get a boss and anything after that is a bonus.

Play vs. CPU games. 3 times as long as a conquest game obviously but you get much more then 3X the xp.

If you have a great team, start your #5 OVR starter (so they do too) on rookie and pound a [censored] team. If your #5 SP isn't great and assuming you have some great RP you can get them in asap and ride each of them as long as possible.
Really try to throw a no hitter since it's a huge bonus.
If you win around 15-0 with 20 or so ks and throw a perfect game you'll get 10k+ xp on rookie

We’ve been through this...you get nowhere near that amount of xp on rookie. With double you could buy in your scenario it’s closer to 5k

You are WRONG. I have got it many times and in fact the last time I posted this somewhere another player sai that he had got it multiple times as well.
And I guess the person that hit like on my post also knows it's true.
The key is throwing perfect games on top of all the other stats.

Well the something is wrong with my xp. I recently won a game 19-1, and had 23 k’s with 9 hr’s and got 5800xp.

As I said the key is throwing a perfect game on top of the stats you got! It gives you a crapload of extra xp. You didn't even get whatever bonus there is for a shutout. I'm sure that would have bumped you up to well over 7k.

And as someone above pointed out it's obviously noticeably more doing it on Veteran.

I highly doubt they do the 2 super easy 50k collections again. I believe that was their way of addressing the dreadful server issues of the first couple of weeks of the game. Yes there have still been some server hiccups but nowhere near what it was at the beginning of the game.

How much do they need to address the server issues?! Free packs, Free 100K XP, 2 collections.

Well seeing as the server issues haven't been resolved over a month into the launch of the game
I would say some dumpy packs aren't a good way to make it up to their paying customers. Not to mention wins not counting and missing stubs/cards, etc.....

True. What would a good to make up for the server issues though?

I think if they dropped another week of double XP, that would be a really good step forward.

People are trying to finish the 2nd Inning Program so I think that would be good.

I don't think a casual player can get to 650k without double xp.

I've played every night and I'm almost to 350k. I think if I push it I can complete it again, especially with probably 1 more collection. I can't do the 1st inning boss collection since I sold Lofton and I don't play online so I'll never get all those xp points.

To be honest, 650k is not for a casual player. That's a hardcore goal.

if people want 650k that bad just do RTTS simulate for a few hours. every time you get 'stubs' as a reward thru the archetype progressions you get xp as well.

If the game was intended for everyone to hit 650K, that would be kind of stupid. It's made this way for a reason. If everyone easily completed every inning that would be kind of pointless. Strive for the boss and anything after is extra.

I easily got to 650k in first inning without even doing conquest or the player programs. If all the XP had counted like it should’ve with double XP and server disconnects, I would’ve had over 900k easy. I was mainly just playing CPU games and a few moments and TA. Still doing that but I’m currently only at 250k in Inning 2. I play every day but I’m just not motivated to play it as much. The first month issues just zapped a bunch of my excitement and desire to play the game this year. I will likely struggle to hit 350k the rest of the year. I finished the collections, used ZERO xp glitches, and paralleled quite a few main players and pitchers to V. The first month burned me out. The server issues on Outriders did the same thing to me. I know many will say my next statement is a conspiracy theory, but I played a bunch of games on CPU and can tell a difference in how it plays the last week or so. I have a feeling SDS stealth-nerfed exit velocity or some other things about hitting recently. The hitting window seems different, fewer homers against CPU, and the CPU seems to be throwing way fewer strikes. I’ve had rookie CPU games where I got fewer than 10 hits against the same teams that I had been getting 10+ homers per game against. I still have big games sprinkled in between but far fewer.

I believe that was patched because so many people were exploiting.

Did anyone bother writing down all of the xp opportunities in the 1st inning? I think we got 2 players programs at 35k each, two conquest at 25k each, first inning showdown for 35k and there were a few other collections and the monthly player program but I don't recall how much they were worth. Being a father of 3 little ones I have to figure out if I can make the push to 650k after bedtime or if I'm going to come up short. If anyone has the above info that'd be appreciated!!

I'm a pretty Casual Player during the week. Only play maybe 2-3 hours 4 out the 5 week days. Do play quite a bit more on the weekends if I've got nothing going on. I'm somewhere between 450-500K right now. I fully expect to hit 650. Play offline on All-Star. It equates to about the same as Double XP on Veteran which is what I did the First Inning pretty much the whole time. I hit 650 in the First inning w/ about a week left to play and I didn't even cash in the 100k for the POTM stuff. Don't know where your at, but we've got one more Player Program Friday. Possibly a 3rd, don't count on it but it's always possible. They had a few innings in the past w/ 3 Player programs. And A Second Conquest Map I'd imagine
