Admitting My Win Is a Game Flaw
-
I just won on a contact home run during an event game. It was Breakout Mike Zunino vs Rookie Pedro Martinez (who was relatively fresh.)
It's nice not to be on the receiving end this time around...but I'm willing to admit it's what's wrong with MLB the Show 21. I have been hitting LOADS of contact swing home runs this year and I think that is the poster child of this game's #1 problem...excessive home runs. This is not real baseball. Maybe home runs are more frequent than what a lot of us grew up with, but this is another level. Don't apologize for the game. It shouldn't be like this. I expect more home runs in a competitive setting, but c'mon.

Contact swings are ruining the game. Even the "elite" streamers are abusing it. And to think sds wants this to be considered a competitive game lol.

Of course they are abusing it. Amazing that SDS literally put people in the game two years ago who are absolutely toxic.

Contact swinging is making events not much fun right now. I'm not using since I know they will tinker with it and I will be screwed more than I already am lol

The problem with this game is home runs, and here you all are talking about contact swings lol

Ok think about it this way, the mlb average for 2 teams is around 4 combined homeruns. I’ve seen games where 17 to 20 homeruns are hit in this game. I understand it’s a game but of it was realistic do you think SDS would still be making it
