PCI size in the first inning of a game

I’ve been playing ranked and in the first inning I’ve noticed that the PCI is huge. Like I’m playing on Rookie mode in 800 ranked games. Then the next inning it’s at a normal size for that rank. Anyone else notice this?

I have noticed that the pci is dependant on the pitcher and his confidence.
When I face that 93 Burnes card it’s already tiny and when they eventually sinker me out it’s like a dot

I personally haven't noticed this when I am hitting; however, when looking at the opposing players PCI placement after a pitch, their PCI is massive. It kinda looks like they are using the contact swing, but I don't think every team I play only contact swings in the first inning and then stops. It has to be some type of glitch.

I know exactly what you’re talking about...in your opponents swing feedback, their PCI looks massive. Playing on HOF or above, even contact swings with the likes of 99 Jackie wouldn’t even be that big
I think is just a visual glitch bc when I’ve been the visiting team, my pci isn’t that size when I’m hitting top 1st
