Well, OP wants to crush balls below the zone. That game allowed that like no other game we've ever seen before and hopefully will see again.

He DOESN'T want low pitches to be so easily crushed like they can be right now.

It's not uncommon to play someone who sits on pitches below the zone all game, taking fastballs if they're down the middle.
If you guys want to golf so badly, there's another game for that...

Yeah very easy to at least foul tip low pitches from rook through all star as long as your timing is decent unless ball is well in the dirt. Once you hit HOF not so much. But I agree it can be very frustrating.

I liked low pitches in real life, but ones in or borderline strikes, this game h game drive one 6 inches below abs off the plate for 450 in all star lol it’s maddening

What this thread has illuminated to me is just how bad the reading compression is on this forum.

The OP is right. Way too many low balls get hammered in this game. Not that it should never happen, but it should be very rare. Sinkers low should be driven into the ground as an example. There's no such thing as ground ball pitchers in this game.

Yep. Burnes isn’t good because he can pound the sinker low...he is good because you can throw the sinker high and past people.

Agree to a certain extent. On HOF though, those pitches don’t get crushed as much
