So I cue up for a late night ranked hopeful for a good win. I'm 7 wins away from 40 and that will earn me the 92 Ryne Sandberg that I really wanted. My team is looking really solid at this point with them all hovering around the 90 ovr at this point. My last game I had to deal with the 96 Glavine for the first time and I'll just say that didn't end up well. My starters are like 90-93 for now. So I'm already pissed about the last game and I see my next opponent has the 95 Frank Tanana upgraded to a 97. I'm like oh great this'll be "fun". That game was perhaps the worst time ive ever expierienced in this game. Here I am sitting here with my little team and here he is with Trout, Tatis, and the constant 101 from Tanana. Like CONSTANT. I think Im playing on like all-star or hall of fame and its just rediculous how insane that card is. He keeps going like fastball high, something slow low and intervals of things inside and outside. The worst part about it is that I'm through like 6 innings or so with Tanana approaching 80 pitches...HIS ENERGY IS HALF FULL!!! Like huh?! There was no time to think about what he was going to throw because it was already past me. When ever i guessed high fastball, it was allways in the wrong spot so it was just fouled off. I basically had no time to react. What was I supposed to do? Im just trying to enjoy this game and I get stuck with this. I lost the game of course and dropped alot of rating. Those people who play on hall of fame or legend and you face something like that, your on something else. I'm starting to regret buying this game.

Just got to keep at it man. We all been there at some point early. Lots of practice helps. Some people can pick it up and be good within a few Months, some people it takes a year or 2. Some never get there. Its just about how much you want to play and get better.

Whenever I change the PCI, I really can't tell if it's doing anything for me. I have strike zone 2 right now with yellow, basic inner, diamonds, and 80%. Whenever I change the color or the shape, I don't think its actually helping me. Now when Im moving it, should I try to like "track" the pitch and kind of follow it when it comes out of the pitchers hand or just straight up go to where I think the pitch will end up?

I don't want fielder since I already have a nice 1B, nolan is tempting but being the cubs fan I am and have actually talked to ryno in real life, I want to go with him if I get there.

From a guy who has liked the ryno cards in previous years and plans to get this one, keep at it youll love him.
The only one i prefer at 2nd is Hornsby and hes not in this year.

Play vs cpu or practice on HOF or legend for a couple games before you start playing ranked. I usually play 3, face high velo guys like Degrom, Think of it like a BP session so that you can get your timing down before you jump into ranked.

I'll be honest I think your opponent deserves alot more credit then you are will to give him.

They way you described how he was pitching you didn't know what was coming means he was pitching very well and mixing his pitches and not falling into a pattern that you eventually could figure out and time up a certain pitch.

In RS you are going to run into players who know what they are doing and you are out matched. Take the L learn from it and jump in the next one
