    What gives?

    3rd in WAR.
    2nd in ISO
    t-7th in WRC+.
    6th in wOBA.
    5th in OPS.

Just used those stats bc they are what I think is most important to measure how a player is producing.

Is back to his normal production from the R side of the plate from 2019 and years previous which he was a diamond in.

    ^^^ .277 in 2021 (20% of season complete)
    .184 in 2020
    .279 in 2019
    .244 in 2018
    .294 in 2017
    .284 in 2016

Literally the 2020 season lasted as long as the amount of ball thats already been played this season(fr really creepy 53 games on the nose)....if SDS preaches 3 year average , he shouldnt be Gold much longer bc his numbers suggest otherwise.

    Also note ****
has played 21 games in the OF
has played 14 games at 3rd
has played 2 games at 1st

    Position change?

I've been stocking up for the eventual move to diamond for him

Started last week when I was able to get him for around 1700, so really hoping he goes up lol

I like the pick. Plus it seems like teams with little to no diamonds are quicker to have players upgraded.

IRL those matter. in game its avg vs rhp avg vs lhp. Iso pwr vs rh/vs lh. K% bb% risp avg. and statcast provides data for defense and speed.

Looking back at his stats in 2018 he definitely wasnt a diamond caliber player and missed some time. In 2019 he was good, but probably more along the lines of 83-84. Last year too small to measure, and is off to a great start this year. Bryant has been graded right about how he should be in my opinion. Might get boosted to an 83-84 again on Friday.

Maybe a little since ive got x50 of him lol. They were quick to downgrade last season. Besides hes top 5 in most every major category and 1st in basically every stat for 3rd basemen. There are 8 players at 3rd base ranked ahead of him in the game. Heck Machado and Chapman are slugging .in the .300's .

Also, is 3rd in most category's among all outfielders only behind Trout and Acuna.

A 4 point jump to diamond just seems unreasonable for him IMO

I'm heavily invested to the tune of 100 Kris Bryants. Based on the fact that he was a 96 in the show 19 and the fact that his real life stats play very nicely along with my model, I'm feeling very good heading into tomorrow.

Vladdy Jr. got +5 .... 2 weeks ago. to gold yes but, theyll probably go to 83-84 and make him 'prove' it another 2 weeks.

He's a mid year diamond upgrade if he continues to produce. Remember though, it isnt just this year's or even last years stats that matter. It's combo of the last few years

With some of the upgrades last time I wouldn’t be all that surprised if he goes diamond tomorrow. If it were years prior like 17,18,19 I’d be a nah sayer and completely dismiss his chances of going diamond. Though we have a small sample size this year for attribute upgrades, the first update seemed to follow the pattern of updates from last year.

In a nut shell I’m not sure but I wouldn’t bet against a diamond upgrade either
