Globe Life Field Lighting Bugs
-
Already submitted a pair of bug reports for each of these bugs/inaccuracies.
First, and the most glaring, is that daytime lighting with the roof closed is very harsh and likely caused by a weird roof-transparency issue. It seems like light is passing through what should be the opaque section of the roof, in addition to the center transparent section. In reality, the center section should filter and scatter light, instead of letting it pass through unabated.
Secondly, in the game, the sun sets behind the first-base side, when in reality, it sets behind the third base side. I suspect this is just an oversight since that's how the old ballpark was oriented. The new park is rotated 90º counter-clockwise comparatively.
Link to some in-game screenshots and real-life photos for reference.

I noticed that field faces the wrong direction too.
I can't believe the old ballpark is still standing. They need to destroy it and use that space for parking!!
I'll be there on the 20th for Rangers and Yankees! 1pm game! -
They just the old building for football... XFL and MANY high school games.

I know, it needs to be destroyed and turned into parking.
They also use it for baseball practice, concerts, etc... screw all that, we need parking! -
In addition, you can see the lighting is somtimes changing after a cutscene.

A few parks have that weird lighting. Playing in Fenway with clear skies and Sale on the mound is a nightmare. I cant see the ball until its right on top of me. Ive just been doing overcast night games for pretty much every Conquest game im playing now.

Does the closed-roof lighting issue happen on PS4/5 too? It looks worst when you pick June at 1PM.
