Rights they do not have there rights to put them in the game

Money is always the biggest thing. It costs a lot of money to get the rights to these players. As far as Bonds, he wasn't in most games in his career at least the latter part if his career. I seriously doubt he would be in it now and of course with Bonds and McGwire there is the steroid thing. MLB may not want them associated with the game.
All of that is speculation but the rights and money to do it is not.

Also.. a signature series Bonds card (best parts of little bonds, defense and speed and best parts of planet-head Bonds) would break the game

While RJ and Pitt Bonds cards would be great, none of those "juiced" cards should be allowed into any MLB licensed group, game platform, or network space before Pete Rose.

Bonds stopped allowing the MLB to use his likeness when he was still in the league. He hates the league for accusing him of using steroids, which he obviously did. Sosa, is an odd duck and you'd think Mark M. would be a card since he has been welcomed back into the league as a coach.

What I don't understand is where do they draw the line? Braun has always been in the game. I'm pretty Giambi was juicing and is in the game. I'm sure there are more but those off the top of my head.
