Allowing Only One Player Build is Awful

I can get over all that is objectively wrong with RTTS this year except for this. It sucks that it is only on-line, it sucks that equipment doesn't work, it sucks that positions are screwy, it sucks that 2-way player is forced, it sucks that everything has been turned into a grind. BUT what really sucks is I can only have one build.
The fact that my player can only look one way, only be built one way and if I want to start a new player then all my stats will already be juiced and all of a sudden my AA player is incredible is the worst.
The best part of RTTS for me was having multiple players and always starting over as a blank slate. It severely cuts down on the replay ability of the mode and makes me much less interested and immersed in the mode.
It sucks.

You can always force yourself to use all bronze archetype and perks, or use none at all. Then add them as you feel you should progress. Granted it’s kind of silly that we only get one. Most online games allow multiple characters for instance. Their blog suggested they may rethink this approach, but not sure we will see the change in updates to 21 or in 22.

I would be shocked if they change their approach. Too much money to be made with DD. Same thing happened with EA 5-7 years ago with all their games just abandoning improving any of the offline modes.

Before 2021, I used to have 3 players at anytime, one pitcher, one infielder, one Outfielder playing for the different teams I like...
Not only dit it cut replay ability, it cut any play ability there was for me with that mode...
I watched all the feature premiere prior to launch, I was checking SDS twitter daily since January...
So far I've started 2 RTTS, both time I stopped playing after 10 games into my career...
I played 6 campaign of March to October and 4 conquest maps...
I went from Hardcore fan to casual player real quick... I also promised myself : No PreOrder for next year...

Same. It was fun playing not only different positions with different players but I would also set difficulty level differently so I'd have one on a level where I could rake and another that would make it hard to even make pros, it was fun having different 'careers'
