Franchise Crashing

So what are you saying here? Are you saying this crash is caused if you have a vault roster before then? Because I have the crash and I didn’t even have a vault roster

Is this fixed yet? I worked around the issue by uninstalling the game and disconnecting from the internet to avoid the update. If it is fixed, I can connect the ps5 back to the internet. For reference, I was using the default rosters and multiple franchises all crashed on PS5 the first time my team is up to bat. By uninstalling and reinstalling the update I can turn the issue on/off.

Problem still isn't fixed for franchise. I can play all 9 innings with no problems and when I end the game it always crashes to the dashboard without saving anything. I've started multiple franchises with and without custom rosters and it's always the same thing. I get about 10- 12 games into the season and then it does the same thing. I've even re-download the game 2 times and I honestly give up trying anything else. At least I could play cyberpunk, this is complete trash and an awful start to the xbox community

This is the first time I've seen anyone have the same issue I'm having. Getting all the way through the game and then crashing when trying to exit. I've tried saving through the game and although it will load back to my save point after a crash, it still didn't help me finish the game. And now it's even worse because I think I'm stuck. So frustrating! Been waiting for a baseball game on Xbox for a long time.

I can’t load my franchise. I have three different Xbox’s in my home, doesn’t work on any of them. Worked fine until the update. Used default rosters. Downloaded roster update Monday and since then hasn’t worked.

Same issue here! Thought they finally fixed the 1st inning crash problem when it actually transitioned to the bottom of the inning -- only for the game to crash after the game finished. Infuriating to say the least.

I never encountered the 1st inning crash fortunately. Unfortunately though, playing a whole 9 innings just for the game to crash is enough to make me uninstall the game until they fix it.

I started a franchise and played a game, saved it and exited. I used settings/file management and save franchise. I have post auto save off and save manually. I exited by tapping PS button and enter rest mode. I'm on a PS5.
If you exit without saving, then it will not save unless you have post auto save on or manually save game.

By the way, when saving franchise, the x was already in the franchise box and I hit x to save and it saved.

You coulda kept this to yourself! I’m lookin for solutions, not people enjoying the game because they don’t have these issues! I’m sure almost all if not all of everyone who posted knows this! You just want some attention! Give me a fix!

I don't need attention, but maybe you do. Looking at your post which doesn't make any sense to me in reply to what I wrote.

The new mlb 22 patch that was just released crashes when I start my game in franchise...

Yeah this is now happening to me. Installed the new update tonight. Now franchise is crashing every time I try to load in a game. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would think Sony San Diego would be able to fix this garbage by now.

They did a server hot fix this morning, so the PS4 and Xbox one should work now. Mine does
