Pitch speeds with the patch

Did they get faster? Looking to start a franchise on HoF and people were saying it was too slow. They feel faster online and was wondering if it affected franchise.

why don't you just use your fastball pitch speed slider? Lower it or crank it up. I usually up it a click at least because the default doesn't look aesthetically realistic to me. If Nolan Ryan is throwing 100 I want it to look 100.

A dev chimed in on another forum the other day and said that if you play on HOF with max pitch speeds then the visual speed is exactly 2.0 mph faster than before the patch.
