My first year playing since 2018, and here’s my #1 thought

I’m honestly shocked at the amount of free content in DD. I played every year from 2013-2018 but got tired of it and had two kids lol. First year back and I just am truly stunned at how much stuff there is in DD that is accessible to everyone. Without putting any extra money into the game I can have a pretty stacked team and have my choice of some of my favorite players. I also love how they’re pushing the prospects… As an O’s fan, to have a Rutschman card, Gunnar Henderson, and Grayson Rodriguez, all of which are totally useable, it’s a fun time to play. Also just how many easy and free ways there are to get cards and stubs. I have been as annoyed as everyone else about the server issues, but they seem to be mostly good now. And I really gotta hand it to SDS, the DD content is great. Thank you!

Totally agree. As someone whose only ultimate team experience was madden, this is incredible and a great change of pace. I won’t be able to go back to MUT after this.

This is why, for the most part, most players that have been playing awhile are more patient over these issues. Yes it is more than ok to be upset over the server and other issues, you pay for a product and you expect it to work, but having played as much as I have over the past couple years SDS has earned some grace from me. If your a really good player you can win your way into earning top cards or enough stubs to get everything you want without paying a dime extra. Yet at the same time, average or below players can still earn really good cards by playing and grinding the game. Buxtons potm is now one of the top outfielders in the game now, yet is very easy to obtain without spending money.
Congrats on getting Rutschman. I picked him up the other day off the market for 40k, he’s about double that now. He legit will be the best catcher, or at least a top 3 catcher in the game for a couple months, if not the whole year
