Does anyone use their created player as a SP?

I have my guy up to gold and he's ok but nothing special. Does anyone have their guy at diamond or know just how good you can get him? I'm hoping I can get a guy that throws upper 90s plus can be a decent hitter with equipment but if it's an orel herschieser type that can hit that's fine too

I’m doing RTTS as a SP to boost his stats gradually. Eventually I see him in my pen as a long reliever with some batting skills. He is stricylyly for garbage innings when I am getting crushed.

I have a RP finished and im like 80% of the way through a starter, haven't used it online but I really want to swap out one pitch but dont want to start over with leveling it out. Ugh.

Also the reliever seems incredibly cheesy, 118k/9 with like 90 stam and 5 pitches.
