Right now I am using Loyalty Griffey in RF. Was thinking of picking up the Special Edition Mantle, just for the Diamond defense. And tossing Griffey on the bench. But I am hitting .471 with him (all vs CPU).
Whoever I keep there, will regulate to a bench bat, as soon as I get FOTF Gallo

So, is it worth it to buy Mantle, even thought he'll probably be a bench bat soon?

You can sell him back when you're done so why not. He's doing good for me so far in center and RF.
