Stuck in RTTS limbo.

Last season around May or so I was starting for the Cubs. (72 LF) They signed another LF’er that was a 79 (Calhoun). Even though I was batting ~.300 I then got shoved to pinch hitter. In the off season they picked up Tyler O’Neil which is a 91 overall. Now Calhoun gets most of the pinch hitting opportunities. I’ve only played, in any facet, 3 of our first 26 games this new season, all as a pinch runner. They won’t send me down and my agent can’t seem to swing a trade saying that the Cubs own me for another 5 years, even though I only signed a 1 year contract. I’m getting 0 to 50 XP because I can’t get in a game at all. Any suggestions?

Yeah, this has been a problem with RTTS for as long as I can remember. The dreaded roster change which leaves you riding the pine instead of getting opportunities and thus progressing. It is made worse this year because you can't have a secondary position. In past year's games, I would set my secondary position to something generic like IF (utility IF) or OF (same for OF). That way if I was getting blocked by a roster situation, I would still get my playing opportunities backing up other guys during their days of rest and whatnot.
The only thing I can recommend you to do is simulate through the season and at the end of the season pray you get reassigned to AAA. You could attempt to modify the roster but I've never personally done this (only heard of it via these forums and some you tube videos). Sorry not to be more help.
