I hope you boys hav fun with him, after i saw how fast live diamond were dropping with the pretty much free xp boost i sold all my topps now and made a huge dent in the nl collection.Already have al collection done. My outfield is trout, griffey jr, and lofton so no need for buxton for me.

That's fair. I like that OF. It was very tempting to sell my Topps Now players for stubs. I have all those diamonds locked in and maybe one or two actually on my starting squad. But Buxton is a beast, pairing him with Trout in my OF.

I hear ya, I don't spend any money either. A lot of offline grinding. I did splurge this year for the $85 version however. First time I've gotten anything other than the standard edition.

True, I had to think about it too, but think of it this way - How many current cards are possible end game cards? Or at least have a really long lifespan as better cards come out? Imo not too many. Trout obviously will be a 99 after leveled up but with Buxton being a 95, he will be a 99 as well. I mean it's all personal preference on who's good at hitting with who, but a 99 overall OF with great D and 99 speed and great contact and power vs both right and left is hard to pass up. That being said, I have Trout in CF and POTM Buxton in RF now and those two will stick for quite a while.

Buxton is a nice card NGL but the outfield is always a stacked position . Trout , Acuna , Finley is more than adequate for me right now with collections lock in . and eventually my end game squad will always have a combination of Trout , Griffey , Mays ,Mantle or new guy Hank . I’m thinking Long game but I understand those who wanna enjoy the here and now to each there own everyone plays differently

Yeah, this card might actually harm the game over the course of the next few weeks because we will all have amazing defense and speed in center field. I'm expecting to be frustrated quite a bit but also make others frustrated too.
