XP applied after finishing 1st inning program

After finishing the 1st inning program, where does our XP go? I doubt it will be applied to 2nd inning program but I feel like there is a lot of XP left on the table.

It goes into the void never to be seen again.

I’m one at bat from diamond ball player but I have him sidelined till inning 2 so that 8k or 16k when doubled doesn’t go to waste.

I hate that you have to stop yourself from progressing at times bc you lose out on the XP, thats so dumb to me

They should have it count toward the next inning but they never have and probably won’t.

I made a thread on this earlier. Someone suggested we get some stubs instead.
I'm waiting to start the P.O.M. Program to keep that XP for the 2nd inning. Usually I hop right in, but don't like seeing the XP go to waste. Flawed system.

I was thinking about that but I figured we will need that to get that card to get the boss and I’d like to get it fast to sell be because I just need Betts, Bellinger and Tatis to finish the live series

Agreed, I havent done anything meaningful in the game for a bit bc of this. I just play ranked but I have no incentive to do anything else
