Delete your RTTS save and start over. Might not want to hear it, but since I did it I have not had a single issue. XP works, progress for archetypes work (I'm working on 4 of them at the same time), appearances are fine, I have 5 pitches and still in first month of AA ball, everything works.

My appearance still changes whenever I go to my loadout screen. As for my for my pitcher he’s still struck on 3 pitches. And I started a new RTTS career once the 3rd patch launched thinking it would clear any bugs or little kinks in the system. But I still have yet to add a 4th or 5th pitch which is kinda maddening.

Just start a new RTTS save if you don’t want to delete the other. They may eventually fix issues with saves. Either way it won’t hurt to keep it if you still want that one.

I created a RTTS player during early access, day 2 or 3 in but virtually didn't play with him until a few days ago.
I started playing RTTS a lot because there wasn't much else to do and I enjoy it.
I got a 4th and 5th pitch very quickly yesterday and everything seems fine except I'm not sure about the equipment perks working.
They are indicated on the player card but the attribute #'s haven't changed, however I've heard you can't really tell from that but have to pause during a game and check where you can.
People have said they work in DD but not RTTS (or do occasionally) but I'm going to play soon and see if I can tell what's happening with mine. -

Glad you're working now. The upside of deleting old saves with the new system SDS implemented - you don't lose anything other than your career path. It's not like your base attributes are set back to all 30s and your archetype progress is lost. You just start back at AA but you're better than you were before so you basically dominate for a little while until they promote you up.
I'm seriously considering once SDS gets all the RTTS specific issues finally squared away just deleting all my saves and starting one or two fresh careers. To my best knowledge, the two most egregious outstanding issues right now are equipment not benefitting the player and loadouts not switching seamlessly between games. Hopefully SDS releases some patches soon that get those issues finally put to bed. Would be nice to play this game the way they conceptually designed it.
