Ghost on second?
-
I’ll check out YouTube and check out the ESPN app as the last time I tried to watch something from there, it took me to the log in page for cable providers.

it is a very strange rule, something I will never get use to or like. having said that its better than 7 inning double headers...
True!

The 7 inning double headers threw me off when I went to a minor league game a few years back.

Agree, get rid of the 7 innings double header, and fix the defensive shifts. That’s what’s killing the game more than anything else they’ve tried to fix. Pace of play isn’t an issue when BABIP is at its lowest in decades. Fans want action, base runners equal action. Having 6 defenders stacked on one side is not action.

You know what’s icky? Playing a baseball game and not knowing some of the basic rules, granted, this is a newer one, but it was implemented a year ago and discussed thoroughly on every sports channel under the sun.
I haven't watched baseball in maybe a year or so. Hard to find a game with no cable.
I haven’t had cable in over three years, I can watch plenty of games. There’s always a free game of the week on MLB.TV, ESPN games are free, YouTube broadcasts some games for free.
I subscribe to mlb and can watch any game I want (except local teams). If you’re a big enough fan to pay $60-100 for the game, then you should at least familiarize yourself with the basics of the game rules.
How are you able to watch anything on ESPN without a cable subscription? Also, where does YouTube broadcast games?
ESPN app, I just watched the Phils/Mets game the other night. Didn’t have to login or subscribe to anything.

I’ll have to look into it. Does either have blackout restrictions?
I don’t think YouTube does since they’re using it as a way to gain new fans.
MLB.tv does blackout local games, which is fine for me, Phils fan living on the West Coast. It does suck that I can’t watch some LA/SD games as they can be entertaining when east coast is done, but I can still listen. I actually prefer listening to radio broadcast sometimes, harkens back to my young days.
Not sure about ESPN either, again, only watch Phils games and being that I’m west coast, it’s not an issue.
Edit: every MLB game can be listened to on the radio, for me, baseball is one of the only sports that can be more enjoyable listening to rather than watching. There’s some really good local radio people out there that do a great job of just letting you enjoy the sounds of the game.
Man, if only you would research a little more you’d realize you can watch any game for free.
I don’t pay a dime for PPV UFC bouts or any games that are on

that sounds good until you get a warning letter from comcast or worse.

Didn't they also show games on Facebook for awhile?
-
I’m more curious how you’ve just now played an extra inning game.

I’ve never gotten a warning letter for watching free stuff on the internet or kodi. I did get one the one time recently that I downloaded from piratebay. I haven’t done that in years either. That kind of freaked me out.

I love the new rule there were conquest games that would go nine innings cause of line outs
