Got a 4th pitch

The game just asked me if I wanted to add a pitch, not replace one.
Sure enough, it's my 4th pitch.

In AA, AAA, or the majors..? I’m a 2-way player and pitch occasionally. Though it never asks me if I want to add a 4th or 5th pitch. Just replace one of my first three. Kinda getting irritated I never get the option to add or get offered to add one. I’m currently in AAA.

I have a fairly new pitcher in AA and in the training options in the Bullpen section, I can add a fourth pitch. I haven't yet because this particular team/trainer doesn't teach the 2SFB. But I can add a fourth there - do you not have that?

I got it in year 2 of my MLB career, but I think it's a result of the patch.
Now I'm being asked if I want a 5th pitch.

I'm having the same issue with the trainer not having my 4th/5th pitch type. I have always made my rtts pitcher with the same pitches I threw when I played baseball in real life (4 seam, circle change, slider, sinker, slurve). But haven't had the option to add a sinker or slurve yet....hopefully the trainer at AAA will have them lol

No I have not. And I’ve had numerous training days and the first thing I check is the bullpen. But I always get the option to change my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd pitch. The options right after that have been stamina, hits/9, BB/9, Hr/9. etc. Never the option to add a pitch. And I had restarted my RTTS career after the 3rd patch just to be certain everything they did would be applied in game. So far no dice. Where others have been able to add a pitch I have not. Maybe I just need to play some more, who knows.
