Im usually pretty talented at pitching but everything is getting hung over the plate. Ive purposely tried to throw a few sliders in the dirt and they still hung like crazy. I miss 2ks pitching sooo much. Lol

While I agree pitching is harder this year and it’s hard to locate, it took me a while to change my mindset. While I wouldn’t say I’m a swinger, I do have an aggressive mindset at the plate and would swing at borderline pitches. But I’ve changed it and just started to take pitches (especially on the edge) a lot more until like you said, one is hung right over the plate. We both know dotting is now an urban legend in mlb 20 lol Working counts and seeing the pitch count at 99 over 5 innings is weird but until they fix pitching, I found this to be the best method for myself.

That seems to be the strategy now I’ve seen most employ. Don’t swing unless it’s going to be a hanger because like you said, dotting is an urban legend this year. They are forcing you to either throw over the middle, or walk every batter. The pitch counts can get ridiculous.
