Cant use with friends

Why on earth would created stadiums not be accessible when playing online with friends? That’s the one place they would be the most relevant. There’s so many things wrong with this great idea already and so many other things, ie the worst servers by far. It’s like you’re actively trying to make us regret buying this edition, especially those of us that bought the Jackie R. edition, and seek out other games. Super Mega 3 is laughably becoming more attractive. What happened to you guys?

I could be wrong, but I believe it's not usable via cross play, when the "friend" has a PS4 or Xbox One. Both must have "Next Gen"

It’s a known thing you can’t play with friends in created stadiums. Why you can play with strangers online in them, but not friends, is a mystery to all.
If anything, you should be able to play in the wacky stadiums with friends, along with the online capable ones. Just disable trophies, CAP progression, etc. Like every other online game does when you play unofficial maps or use mods.
Hopefully this is something that eventually changes with an update. I know servers are the main focus at the moment, as they should be.
