Anyone else absolutely love this BR “2nd half hero” card?

sold him immediately, too expensive to be a bench bat, and his defense is too junk

I bought him day 1 of early access and he's now tier 4 for me. He's just great. Defense is average but I have seen no evidence of that mattering.

He's a great hitter on Allstar. Nothing but a bench bat though. Once better pitchers get released with high per 9's his contact and vision will make this card less desirable on higher difficulties

I don't play online just conquest, vs. cpu and extra innings, all-star mostly, 1/4 of the time HOF.
I have an entire team of diamonds, all tier 4 including him, Trout, Donaldson and Ruth as the big homerun hitters, each with 400+ at bats and Soler leads the team in homers and rbis with Trout second. Trout leads in B.A. and Soler is 3rd behind Wander Franco.
He also has the most walks by far partially because he is so easy check swing with that great disc.I'm sure what you say will apply online but like I said, I never play it and he's never going to be out of my starting lineup.

Same. Could get that JD Martinez for 1/3 of the price

I actually gained stubs obtaining Soler. Sold two 9 win rewards along the way and netted ~55k. Plus his price (which is already high) will probably only go up since you can no longer get him.
His defense is quite suspect though.

Yea I got him early enough and sold him for around 75k, went towards collections.
