Ballplayer Fielding on secondary Position is terrible

Hello,
i play my ballplayer with silver slugging sparkplug on his secondary position(1st Base).
Even with 64 Reaction and 69 Fielding he keeps to bubble balls that are thrown to him from the other infielders. Last game (Veteran conquest) he had 2 errors.
Any advice is welcome, besides "put him on his primary position"

Secondary positions are still broken (don't actually exist). So many posts on this and SDS is still silent as usual. They may pop up to ban ppl for calling them out though.

Same here. SP is still listed as my secondary inside my minor league RTTS season even after I told them I only want to hit. When I put him on my DD team he does not have a secondary listed even though it should be catcher. Very frustrating.

weird part is that in RTTS with the same loadout playing on 1st base is doing good, without any errors
