So, I bought a LS Jose Ramirez last night, then went to bed. I woke up this morning and started playing, and noticed he’s already on parallel level 3.

Is this a glitch? Or is that just how it goes, where you buy a player and their parallel transfers ownership?

It doesn't transfer, as I used to wonder if selling a card with upgraded parallel level would mean you lose that progress (if you were to re-buy it) but you don't. I'm guessing it's the Inside Edge that's actually increased? Either that or it's a bug I guess?

Speaking of parallels, why do you sometimes get a card that has a parallel upgrade in things like moments and showdowns?

Also, as far as points go for upgrades. Is it just a single point upgraded for each level or is it 2 more points for level II, 3 more for level III and so on?

Level 2 would be +2 from base, level 3 is +3 from base not from level 2

I would think it wouldn’t transfer, but he’s a purple card now, which is why I asked. I restarted the game and he’s normal again. I’m guessing it was just some sort of bug.

No, Jose Ramirez had the purple border. It wasn’t confusion, just some sort of bug. It went back to normal after restarting the game.

This kind of bug happens a lot. I've noticed it in Showdown with cards I don't even have and have never used. They'll be Parallel level 3 or 4 in one mission (with the increase in stats showing when you hit R2), and then they could be back to default in the next.

If you parallel a card, it is still applied to other areas in the game when you use that card.

Inside edge is also applied daily to all LS cards. This is true across all game modes as well.

Yeah but I’m talking about cards I don’t have.
