Ballplayer Secondary Position

I went into my first game with my upgraded ballplayer and put the 65 overall player in at second base (his secondary Position) and it game him all my attribute boost and the boost from the Diamond Archetype and perks, but did not show the boost in fielding. I still had common fielding and what seemed like clunky our of Position animations. So I subbed him at catcher in the 9th to see if that worked and it gave me results as if he didn't know how to play catcher (dropping balls that aren't in the dirt) is that a known issue? With the diamond Iron Man Archetype, the primary Position in DD is always 3rd. Am I just not able to use him anywhere else at the moment?

You have to play him at his primary position. The tag "Secondary" is apparently wrong and not working.

Yes it's broken and was not fixed in the last patch like many assumed it would be, considering they said they were supposedly fixing alot of Ballplayer issues. But most of the issues are still unfixed and worst of all, unacknowledged by SDS.
