- support doesn't help with any ticket and you're completely ignored
- it is physically draining to play ranked seasons or any form of online games
- it's still the show 20 with updated rosters graphics, card art but worse servers

Majority of this is spot on...but honestly there are hits in real baseball on late and early contact...and it is actually possible to square one up with perfect timing and it be an out in real baseball...seems like the number/amount of these happening in the game at least had improved from what I can tell so far...obviously small sample size since game has been down/unplayable more than not since releaseive played since 17 and I've dealt with the early and late hits for the past years. all on the same pitches. it'll be a 102 mph fastball on the black inside and just somehow the ball tickles over the 1st baseman or third basemans head. just lost my 6-0 BR Run to a very early slider outside of the zone against a righty LOL games trash 3 weeks in and it shows

I think my favorite thing is the homers and the game being so hitter friendly every [censored] I play. I can be winning 8-0 and mind you my Orange parallel deGrom can still blow the lead based off the game saying "too bad ur losing this game"

Well I would refer you to point #10. Same ridiculousness as the last couple years. Wish when they said there was a " Competitive" mode they meant against the CPU. LOL

Yep...I’ve had every edition since the beginning...I still feel the hitting engine on ‘16 was the best....’17 was good but started to see some glitchy stuff then...18 was HORRIBLE...’19 was lineout after lineout really inconsistent...actually feel like the gameplay is smoother with more fluid input this year but also I’m playing on Ps5...

let me sum up my mlb the show 21 in a week, lost trout and 42 yastresmzki diamond due to server errors, Lost 4 ranked games off of early and late homers. Perfect perfects I had kept track of 5 out of my 20 perfect perfects had been hits. Lastly but most importantly, My ERA online in 19 and 20 was a sub 3 and now it's a 6. nice right? Did I mention I lost a 6 run lead in the bottom 3rd of a BR run 1 hour ago and lost? based off of early and late hits off 100 mph sinkers in on the hands?

yeeesh.... That's rough man. I've tried to stay away from BR and Ranked as much as possible maybe like 7 games? I have played the event a little since it is free but have noticed so much of the same B.S as last year. so nothing has changed at all.

in every aspect im sick of this game 3 weeks in. im tired of getting my hopes up to be let down every day. they had a whole extra month and the only excuse people give you on this website is covid. They aint making a movie, they're making a video game which all involves computers not being in person affects how a game can be made. So stop feeding the BS saying covid's the reason they can't help support and they can't work as quick and efficient because it's straight up not the case. they're caught like a deer in headlights and have 0 clue what to do or what's wrong. 3 weeks deep we still have issues. just sad man just so sad

game changed so much this time it's updated to steal stubs, players and not track progression every DD player's dream !!!!

It's been like this with all businesses and corporations. Using the global health issue as a built in excuse to cover up their own deficiencies and ineptitude. I don't let it fly anywhere I go now. If your business hasn't pulled their /bleep/ together by now, it's their own fault. Whenever I get the "global health issue" excuse told to me on the phone or at a place of business I always reply "Other businesses have had more than ample time to adapt to the new way of doing business, why hasn't your business?" If you are still willing and able to accept my money, then you are still responsible to providing me the product or service. If you aren't able to do that, then don't take my money either.
